OLDER people in the Vale are being offered a free festive lunch to promote companionship and togetherness during the Christmas season.
Richmond Villages Wood Norton is partnering with Age UK Wyvern to offer a three-course meal followed by live music to get guests into the Christmas spirit.
The event is designed to bring people together for laughter, friendship, and cheer in a warm, welcoming environment.
James Culley, village manager at Richmond Villages Wood Norton, said: “Our team and residents are enthusiastic about creating an inclusive and joyful event for everyone, particularly those who may otherwise be alone.
“We want to make sure the festive season is special for everyone and this lunch, with the support of Age UK Wyvern, aligns with our ethos to create meaningful social connections.
“This is even more important during Christmas, a time traditionally associated with togetherness.”
The lunch will be taking place on Tuesday, 16th December, between 12.30pm to 2.30pm at Richmond Villages Wood Norton.
