AN EVESHAM based firm is taking on Kevin the Carrot and the iconic Coca Cola truck with a festive advert starring Jess the rescue springer and her co-star and owner Fred Butler aka Freddy Flipstick.
Flipstick, an Evesham based company which is part of Rotec Engineering, manufactures the ‘walking stick seat and has has decided to take on the Christmas Advert big wigs.
Instead of spending millions on an advert to become the best in 2018, Flipstick has spent a mere fraction to produce what they think is a 2018 winner.
A Flipstick spokesperson said: “You wouldn’t be able to tell but all acting was done by our Flipstick/Rotec team; no rehearsals, no stunt doubles and no training. All filmed in one day, but the results are rival to a big budget production.
“Innovation and creativity are at the heart of Rotec Engineering and is encouraged by its owner Paul Butler, which we think is reflected in our very first Christmas film.”
The film was put together by producer Jake Hughes of Kobe Visuals and can be viewed on YouTube.
