FOUR adults have been injured and taken to hospital after a suspected gas explosion in Evesham this evening.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Hemmingway shortly after 5pm.
One man has been taken to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital and two other adults are being taken to Hereford County Hospital.
A fourth person is being treated by paramedics.
Five neighbouring properties have been evacuated as a precaution.
A road closure and police cordon remain in place whilst the emergency services respond to the incident.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We’re asking you to stay away from the area at this time, thank you for your understanding.”
