Four fire crews attend blaze at South Littleton farm

A FIRE at an agricultural building fire on Little Road, South Littleton on Monday (June 23) saw four fire and rescue crews attend.

Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Evesham and one each from Broadway and Upton-upon-Severn, plus incident command units from Worcester and Malvern and the water carrier from Evesham were called at 8.07pm.

A barn and a caravan were on fire and extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using three hose reel jets and one main jet.

The area was dampened down using a hose reel jet and a ceiling hook. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots. There were no casualties.

National Grid and police  also attended and the incident was marked as pending closure at 01:49am but a re-inspection took place at 06:00 before it was closed at 06:47am the following day.
