FORMER Olympic and Commonwealth Games medallist Sharon Davies made a splash as part of the Royal Life Saving Society UK’s Open Water Swimming Festival.
More than 100 families aged from seven to 73-years-old gathered at the Lenches Lake in Evesham on Saturday (September 4) together with Mayor of Evesham Coun Sue Amor.
The celebration of safe swimming in open water saw all those take part receive a swim hat, medal and goody bag thanks to sponsors such as Zone 3.
Almost £3,000 was raised to help future generations to enjoy water safely.
