Forever family values needed this 'Howl-oween'

Evesham Editorial 31st Oct, 2016   0

STAFF at Dogs Trust Evesham are getting into the spirit of Halloween by conjuring up menacing monikers for three new arrivals in a bid to find them new homes.

Three spooky greyhounds, Wednesday, aged six and three-year-olds Gomez and Uncle Fester are hoping to cast a spell on local dog lovers to find their forever homes.

Dogs Trust Evesham Rehoming Centre Manager, Chris Slight, said: “These greyhounds are far from ghoulish and there’s no reason to be spooked by them. They are just three of the many dogs we currently have looking for new homes. These gorgeous dogs haven’t had the best start in life, but are now hoping to find new owners who can give them the future they deserve.

“This Howl-oween, why not come down to Dogs Trust Evesham and see if any of our dogs can cast a spell on you.”

Three-year-old Uncle Fester has never lived in a home before, so will need help getting used to living in a home and what is expected of him in this environment.

Ex-racer, Wednesday, adores human company and is always up for a good fuss and cuddle. She’s also friendly and sociable with other dogs but needs a cat-free home.

And Gomez loves cuddles, food, and stuffed toys. Gomez has only ever lived in racing kennels so will need some help settling in and adjusting to home life.

To visit Wednesday, Gomez or Uncle Fester, or any of the other dogs at the centre, visit Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre Evesham, 89 Pitchers Hill, Wickhamford, Evesham, WR11 7RT or call 0300 303 0292.
