Food for thought at Christmas

AN OPTICAL domiciliary service is calling on the community to support its efforts to provide food hampers for local people who will be spending Christmas on their own.

Specsavers Worcester Home Visits service is asking the community for donations of non-perishable food items to be dropped off at its Evesham office on Enterprise Way. The collected items will be made up into hampers by the Home

Visits team, who will then distribute them to their customers across the region who are going to be spending Christmas on their own.

“It’s been a particularly tough 18 months for everyone and so we wanted to give back and spread a little goodwill this Christmas,” said Brenda Payne, customer service director, Specsavers Worcester Home Visits.

Donated items can be dropped off at Specsavers Home Visits, Netherton Suite at De Montfort House, on Enterprise Way, Evesham from 9am-5.30pm until December 10.
