AN EXTRAVAGANZA of al fresco entertainment is set to entertain residents and visitors in the Vale this spring with the return of the Evesham Food and Music Festival.
The three-day homage to flavour and sounds on Crown Meadow promises to be an action-packed weekend with a choice of tasty foods, drinks, and music complemented with artisan craft stalls.
Last week, organisers Fab Food Festivals announced that a local sponsor had been secured which means the event is now free to attend. Anyone who has already purchased tickets will automatically get a refund.
The festival which runs from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1 will showcase a variety of tribute acts including The Jam on Friday, Amy Winehouse on Saturday and finishing with Elton John on Sunday.
The event will also feature a variety of cover bands and DJ sets to keep the crowds dancing into the night, whilst during the day there will be plenty of family entertainment with funfair rides for all ages, bouncy castles, arts & crafts, and glitter tattoos.
