MEMBERS of Pershore Heritage and History Society will be treated to a talk on seven decades of restoring and continuing the River Avon at their February meeting.
The work of the Avon Navigation Trust which looks after 47 miles of the river from just south of Stratford-upon-Avon through to its junction with the Severn at Tewkesbury will be the subject of an illustrated talk by Clive Matthews.
The meeting will be held at Wulstan Hall on Priest Lane on Thursday (February 7) at 7.30 pm.
Admission for non members is £2.
