ENVIRONMENT Agency chiefs have issued a flood warning for the River Avon after heavy rain at the weekend which was seen the River Avon rise.
Flooding of roads including Waterside, property and farmland up river is expected from this morning (Monday) as well as the car park on Crown Meadow.
The Avon is expected to peak at between 2.9metres and 3.1metres this morning but with further rain forecast over the next 24 hours, Agency staff are keeping an eye on the Avon throughout the day.
