A BRETFORTON landmark has been named ‘Best Pub in Worcestershire’ in the 2018 National Pub and Bar Awards
The National Trust owned Fleece Inn is amongst other winners from different counties and now goes forward to the national finals in London on Wednesday May 23, where one overall winning pub will be named National Pub and Bar of the Year and 15 regional winners crowned.
This latest accolade continues a track record of award wins for the 500 year old Fleece Inn. Awards include Visit England’s Tourism Pub of the Year in its Excellence Awards and Country Pub of the Year 2016 by the Good Pub Guide.
Landlord Nigel Smith said: “All thanks and recognition must go to my amazing team who work so hard every day to make the customer service standards and atmosphere in The Fleece so special.
“We would love to win in the finals and bring the trophy home to Worcestershire – fingers crossed!”
