EVESHAM Festival of Words will open a bookshop at the town’s Almonry in Vine Street, on Friday, June 17.
To celebrate the start of the festival, organisers have arranged the one-off event to allow Vale bookworms to meet successful local authors, hear them read extracts from their work, buy signed copies of their books and gain an insight into the ideas, motivation and stamina that a writer needs to make their work onto our bookshelves.
The launch event will be held at the venue from 7pm to 8.30pm on the night and is free for everyone to attend.
