THE COUNCIL tax rates have been revealed for 2017/18 and we’ll all be paying more from this April.

Both Worcestershire County Council and Wychavon District Council have put up their council tax rates.

The County Council’s share is increasing by 2.94 per cent – mainly to pay for adult social care.

Wychavon District Council increased bills by two per cent.

However, West Mercia Police’s Commissioner and the Hereford and Worcester Fire Authority both opted not to increase their share of council tax bills.
