Festive fun at the family hubs

Rob George 18th Dec, 2022   0

FAMILIES across Worcestershire are encouraged to visit a local Family Hub located around the county to get involved in the range of Christmas activities taking place.

Dummy Elf ‘meet and greet’ events at several venues across Redditch and Bromsgrove will be held on Tuesday (December 20) with Christmas stay and play sessions on Wednesday and Thursday (December 21 and 22).

The Starting Well Partnership Family Hubs across Worcestershire are at the heart of the communities they serve and not only act as venues for fun-filled family events, but provide children, young people, and families a centralised location to access services such as groups and clinics.

Louise Langston, Clinical Service Manager for Starting Well Partnership said: “It’s fantastic our Family Hubs provide safe spaces within our local communities, to support all aspects of physical and mental wellbeing for children, young people and their families.”

The Starting Well Partnership provides support to parents, families, children, and young people to live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives across Worcestershire.

Led by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, the Partnership brings together professionals from Barnardo’s, Action for Children, and Redditch Borough Council to support ‘parents to be’ and their children during the early years and as they move through school towards adulthood.

Spaces at the festive events are limited, so booking is recommended as soon as possible by calling 01905 520 032.
