EVESHAM’S second annual Christmas tree festival has opened at St Lawrence’s Church.
Organisations, businesses and local groups have decorated thirty Christmas trees which are now on display throughout the church all over the Christmas period.
Organiser Diana Raphael is delighted with the response from the local community and the wonderfully Christmas atmosphere the festival creates.
Evesham Mayor Coun Mark Goodge opened the festival on Saturday morning and even decorated a tree himself, complete with a mayoral ‘paper-chain-of-office’.
The festival is free, runs until twelfth night and is open every day between 10am until 4pm (10am to midday on Christmas Day)
