FESTIVE TREATS were on offer at Wychavon District Council’s annual Christmas Fayre.

Coun Lynne Duffy’s fund-raising event took place on Friday (November 28) and saw a number of businesses from the district celebrate the start of the festive season by having stalls with many Christmas items available for sale.

Businesses which took part included The Gorgeous Little Cake Company, Two Little Buttons, Out of India, Ian Gibson Art, Forever Living Products, Phoenix Cards and Pat’s Preserves.

Proceeds from the fayre went to the Salvation Army, which is one of the chairman’s chosen charities.

Lynne Duffy, chairman of Wychavon District Council, said: “We had plenty of local businesses at the fayre and all of them offered a variety of quality gifts and fair prices, making it the perfect place to come and do some Christmas shopping for

friends and family.
