DOG owners in Evesham and the Vale will find the perfect gift for their four-legged family member on Saturday, November 29 whilst raising money for a good cause.
Dogs Trust Evesham will be throwing the doors open to both humans and fur-babies for its annual Christmas Fair from 12 to 4 pm, at the charity’s base at Pitcher’s Hill, Wickhamford.
Visitors will be able to enjoy browsing a range of stalls selling gifts for four and two-legged friends, along with a tombola, raffles and games.
It is also an opportunity to meet the dedicated staff and volunteers, and say hello to some of the rehoming centre’s residents who are currently searching for their happy place in a forever home.
Callum Stackhouse, supporter relations officer at Dogs Trust Evesham, said: “Our Christmas Fair is a great way to get into the festive spirit and welcome our wonderful supporters and their four-legged friends to Dogs Trust Evesham for a fun-filled day.
“This event is a wonderful way to raise pounds for hounds whilst getting in the Christmas spirit, with all the money raised going to support the work of Dogs Trust.
“It’s always very busy and noisy at the Christmas Fair, so while we hope lots of dogs come along, we would ask people only to bring their dogs if they are sure they will thoroughly enjoy it.
“Although not every dog will be in a home this Christmas, the dogs in our care will still benefit from the love and commitment of the brilliant rehoming centre staff, who will go above and beyond to make sure every dog has a happy place this Christmas.”
Organisers are appealing for prize donations from people who wish to show their support for the event.
Contributions such as new teddies, bottles of wine, gift sets, dog toys, vouchers or hampers would be greatly appreciated.
To donate an item, email Callum Stackhouse at [email protected] or call on 01386 574986.
Entry and parking are free on the day, although any donations are welcome.
