A CRAFT Fayre and sales of fruit, jam and vegetables by an Evesham family raised more than £2,000 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
And 10-year-old Bethan Edwards was on hand to present the cheque for £2,002 to staff from the much loved hospital’s fund-raising department.
The cash will go towards an extension to the Intensive Care Unit and for equipment in the cardiac ward.
Bethan suffers from a rare condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome meaning she survives on only a half a heart and
has been treated at the hospital during her short life.
