A FAMILY-run business which has been in Pershore for nearly five decades will close its doors later this month.
Ken and Jen Mason and Daughters has been in the town since 1976 at the heart of Pershore Market.
But with a ‘heavy heart’, the family fruit and veg stall will come to an end on Saturday, May 27 at 4.30pm as sisters Debbie and Mandy embark on their retirement.
The news was revealed in a poster on the stall to tell customers of the end of an era.
“We would like to thank all our customers and staff – new and old – for the last 47 years as we couldn’t have done it without you all.”
“Please come down to join the celebrations on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27.”
“We wish you all the very best for the future.”
