Families invited to go on a North Pole Safari in Pershore this Christmas

FAMILIES are invited to step into a festive augmented reality (AR) adventure this Christmas, with the North Pole Safari in Pershore, now open and running until Tuesday, January 7, 2026.

The free AR trail, organised by High Street Safari in partnership with Wychavon District Council, transforms shop windows across the town into magical portals to the North Pole.

By scanning QR codes, families can uncover clues, meet elves and enchanting creatures, and help Santa solve his secret password.

The adventure is split into two themed routes:

  • The Workshop Route – Meet the elves and toys inside Santa’s bustling workshop.
  • The Winterwood Route – Discover the magical creatures roaming snowy forests.

Optional guide sheets and festive activity packs are available from the Pershore Visitor Information Centre at Pershore Town Hall.

Councillor Richard Morris, leader of Wychavon and executive board member for economic growth and tourism, said: “We’re delighted to bring the North Pole Safari to Pershore.

“It’s a great way to enjoy quintessential Pershore and its many great independent offerings. It’s also a wonderful way for families to explore the town together and enjoy a festive adventure that blends tradition with technology.”

Once families solve Santa’s password, they’ll become official certified elf helpers and can claim a free festive e-book prize.

The trail is easy to join with no app required; open the website on your smartphone.

Each route takes about 45 minutes and can be completed in one go or over several visits.
