AN EVESHAM fund-raising family hit the jackpot for a hospital where their daughter is being treated for a life-limiting heart condition.

Mandy Edwards of Cosy Hearts Crafts held their 11th annual Charity Craft Fair in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital and for the first time Cotswold RDA.

Saturday’s (November 19) event brought a multitude of local crafters togther selling their wares to the public at Leedons Park, Childswickham.

The event raised a total of £1,459 for the two popular causes. With other fund-raising adventures, Cosy Heart crafts are on target to handover cheques for around £1,000 each in the new year.

“Over the last 16 years, we have fund-raised for Birmingham Children’s Hospital as our daughter, Bethan, received lifesaving care from them throughout her young life,” Mandy said.

“As she now enjoys horse riding at Cotswold RDA we wanted to include them in our fund-raising. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of all those who contributed, including customers, my little helpers and local businesses who donated raffle prizes.

“Once again, Allen Caravans, the owners of the Hall at Leedons Park, Childswickham, have provided superb facilities for us to host the event,” she added.
