UNDER-FIRE Evesham Town Council clerk Francesca Pridding has revealed she will leave her post next week.
Ms Pridding resigned in an e-mail to councillors seen by the Observer and will leave her post on Tuesday (April 12) as per the terms of her contract.
The Observer understands Ms Pridding is leaving the town hall for a new job and her decision has been accepted by Mayor of Evesham, Coun Sue Amor.
Rows over whether controversial comedian Jim Davidson should perform in Evesham, the departure of three town councillors and the non-issue of polling cards have all taken place during Ms Pridding’s tenure.
She has been Town Clerk since August of last year having replaced Stuart Carter.
