A POPULAR Evesham shop is enjoying sweet success after opening its doors in the Vale.
Family-run Strawberry Couch was opened earlier this year by husband and wife, Tara and Paul Baird, who offer an eccentric mix of traditional and modern sweets, including a large selection of exclusive American candy, toys and gifts.
The Bridge Street store has had Vale residents visit in droves to get their hands on ‘fuffle’ – a hybrid of fudge and chocolate truffle – including vanilla, Baileys, rum and raisin, Jack Daniels and caramel flavours.
“My husband and I opened Strawberry Couch because we wanted to give the people of Evesham a shopping experience that was missing,” said Mrs Baird.
“The shop is our baby and we aim to be here for many years to come, working to expand our product range to suit the wants and needs of our customers.
“We hope to continue offering visitors a unique, top class experience in a family friendly environment,” she added.
