EVESHAM Methodist Church will be filled with quilts of all colours and patterns next Saturday (October 25) for the annual display of talent from local stitchers.
Organised by Quilts4You the show from 10.30am to 4.30pm, will feature more than 175 carefully crafted patchworks, including two prize winners from this May’s Quilts UK Show at the Three Counties Showground.
Some of the quilts creating the stunning display of local talent will be available for sale and quilting teachers will be on hand to answer questions on the traditional sewing technique.

Quilts4You started when a group of friends met to sew, make and donate quilts to local charities.
It now works with Evesham Vale Welcomes Refugees to support a sewing group where women new to the UK can learn to sew, knit, and crochet in a safe and welcoming space.
Members exemplify the principles of reuse, recycle and repurpose, and have used many donations of material from friends, other quilt groups.

Remade in Worcester, a charity committed to rescuing quality craft materials from landfill and making them available to the public at affordable prices, has also contributed.
Since its inception, the Quilts4You group has donated over 200 quilts to refugees, who are able to choose a quilt that suits their needs.
Entrance is free and refreshments will be served.
Email Sharon Gresham at [email protected] for more information about the group.
