POLICE have moved to reassure residents in Cleeve Prior after a large presence in the village on Thursday morning.
Officers executed a warrant on land just off Evesham Road under the Firearms Act, 1968.
They remained at the scene overnight and into Friday morning, carrying out extensive searches.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “We’d like to reassure residents there’s no need to be worried, but if they do have any concerns please feel free to speak to one of our officers.”
He added further updates would be released in the coming days.
