EVESHAM’S MP was on hand to present apprenticeship certificates to employees during a visit to McDonald’s.
Nigel Huddleston recently visited the Link Road restaurant to meet the company’s local franchisee Sarah McLean and to celebrate employees’ achievements with a certificate presentation.
The Mid Worcestershire MP spoke to the staff about the training and development opportunities at McDonald’s, and took the time to present seven employees with certificates who had recently been promoted from within the business.
He also learnt more about how the restaurant operates locally and its contribution to the town’s community.
“It’s great the McDonald’s in my constituency is creating opportunities for its employees to gain qualifications and advance in their career,” said Mr Huddleston.
“Sarah and her team make a positive contribution to the local community and I was happy to meet and congratulate them all on their hard work,” he added.
Ms McLean said: “My team and I were thrilled to have had the opportunity to meet our local MP and highlight the contribution we make to the community, as well as the staff development programmes we offer.
“We work hard to ensure we provide the best possible service every day to our customers and are committed to supporting the local community,” she added.
