AN EVESHAM man has been jailed for 10 years for rape.
Jemir Topuzi, of Littleworth Street in Evesham was given the decade jail term at Worcester Crown Court on September 15.
Topuzi pleaded not guilty to the rape which happened on July 13, 2021.
He will also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will be placed on the Sexual Harm Register.
Detective sergeant Andy Todd said: “Although this positive result can never take away the harm that has been done, I hope this conviction provides some resolution to the pain that has been inflicted.
“I would like to thank the victim and others for their support allowing us to put this dangerous individual in Prison.”
