A 35-YEAR-OLD man from Evesham has been arrested after a ‘large’ quantity of class A drugs were discovered in his car.
It’s after officers from West Mercia Police were called to Woodlands, Evesham, at about 6.10am yesterday following reports of suspicious behaviour.
A man was seen in the area and officers then discovered a quantity of suspected controlled drugs and drugs paraphernalia in his car.
As a result the 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug – class A.
He has since been released under investigation.
His car was also seized by officers for having no insurance.
