Evesham Labour Party reveal candidates for May's county council elections

THE EVESHAM branch of the Labour Party has revealed their candidates for the upcoming County Council elections.

A launch event was held at The Valkyrie Cafe on Saturday (February 18) as the party gears up for elections on Thursday, May 4 which will decide the make-up of Worcestershire County Council for the next four years.

The branch is putting up candidates in six wards across the Vale following an increase in party membership over the last few years.

Labour candidates vying to become county councillors include, Michael Worrall for Evesham North West, Mary Campbell for Evesham South, Viv Eden for Badsey and The Littletons, Martin Vernall for Broadway, David Niblett for Bredon and John Gowers for Harvington.




The seats being contested are all currently held by the Conservatives.
