EVESHAM is set to turn pink for one day to raise funds for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven and residents and businesses are being urged to get involved.

The day of fund-raising is taking place this Saturday and is being organised by Kim Dunn from VECTA and breast cancer survivor Mary Campbell.

The duo will be out and about on the streets of Evesham throughout the day urging residents to donate.

Businesses can also get involved by hanging pink helium filled balloons outside of their shops to let shoppers they are collecting donations for the breast unit.

So far more than 100 businesses and shops have signed up to take part to ‘Turn Evesham Pink for the day.’
