AN EVESHAM equine rehabilitation centre is celebrating after being nominated for a rural award.
Claire Dyson Equine Water Treadmill and Rehabilitation Centre in Cleeve Prior has been tipped for the Rural Enterprise category in the Countryside Alliance awards.
The centre provides state of the art facilities, including an equine water treadmill and a salt therapy room, all set in 150 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
Among their work in rehabilitating and training horses, they have also raised an impressive £110,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Mid Worcestershire MP Nigel Huddleston has praised the facility and wished them the best of luck at the awards ceremony following a visit to the centre.
He said: “I had a fascinating visit to the Equine Water Treadmill and Rehabilitation Centre and it was great to see the fantastic work that Claire and the team do.
“I was lucky enough to be able to see the water treadmill in action and I enjoyed watching two horses on the gallops.
“The Countryside Alliance Awards are highly prized and extremely competitive and I wish Claire and her team the very best of luck in the awards.”
