KIND-hearted staff at Evesham Garden Centre took to the catwalk at their annual Summer Fashion Show to raise more than £600 for two charities.

Colleagues Jackie Virgo and Anita Bailey organised the event which was held last Thursday (June 30), with the money raised from the event being split between Dementia Awareness UK and the British Heart Foundation.

Jackie and Anita both lost their husbands two years ago and chose to raise money for charities that have helped and supported them through very tough times.

The annual event at the garden centre based at The Valley saw staff become models for the night as they showcased their 2016 summer collection.

Speaking after the event, Anita Bailey, said: “I wish to thank all my friends and colleagues for their help and support for something that is very close to Jackie’s and my heart.”
