A KIND-hearted Evesham design flooring specialist teed up to raise £11,000 for three good causes as part of their annual charity golf day.
Karndean Designflooring, which is based on the Vale Park, raised the staggering amount of money for Breast Cancer Now, Mentor Link and Evesham Adventure Playground at the golf day at Puckrup Hall Hotel in Tewkesbury.
The generous firm decided once again to host another charity golf day after their previous events raised funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital, St Richard’s Hospice and CLIC Sargent.
The event also featured a raffle and an auction, with prizes including a framed and signed England cricket test match shirt, a whole day spent on the airfield and military testing ground at Duxford which included a flight in a tiger moth and a Swarovski crystal jewellery.
Sam Dawson, manager of Evesham Adventure Playground which will be receiving a share of the £11,000, said: “All of us at the Adventure Playground are extremely grateful for Karndean’s support.
“The funds that have been raised will make a big difference in helping to keep all our activities running to a high standard, and we can see from our visitors’ faces that the playground has a real positive impact on their family life and general wellbeing.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to all at Karndean for their contribution.”
