AN EVESHAM mobile fish and chip van is frying high after being shortlisted for yet another award this year- this time Caterer of the Year.
StarChip Enterprise has been revealed as a finalist at the prestigious National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards and the announcement continues another successful year for the Evesham company.
Back in August the mobile fish and chip van was announced as one of three finalists in the Best Mobile Fish and Chip Operator category at the 2018 National Fish & Chip Awards.
The firm’s latest award contention will see them take on Dorshi Dumpling and Lalita’s Vegan Kitchen for the Caterer of the Year crown. The winner will be revealed at an exclusive ceremony at the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms in Bath next month.
Susan Tanner, NOEA’s chief executive, said: “This year saw a 50 per cent increase in nominations across all categories for the awards which was
unprecedented.
“Consequently our judges had a hard job to decide on the three or four shortlisted in each category.”
