THE OWNER of an Evesham mobile fish and chip van was a finalist at a prestigious business awards.
Jeffrey Warren, the owner of StarChip Enterprise, was a runner up in the Entrepreneur category at the Black British Business Awards 2017.
The Evesham business owner was recognised for his 25-year background in business and his successful mobile fish and chip firm.
In his early career, Jeffrey worked in Tenerife within the Timeshare industry before being headhunted to the Caribbean.
After a number of years in the Caribbean, Jeff came back to the UK and developed the first Narrowboat Timeshare and then sold the company and system to the world’s largest Timeshare Company, RCI.
Then, having previously worked with his Grandfather in his family’s 93-year old fish and chip business, Jeffrey set up StarChip Enterprise after he saw an opportunity to create a new fish and chip concept that would bring fish and chips into the 21st century.
Since its creation StarChip Enterprise has won numerous awards for its work on fusing premium quality and sustainable products in a modern, family friendly way.
Speaking to the Observer, Jeffrey said: “It is an honour to be recognised for the effort my whole team has put in to our projects.”
