AN EVESHAM business that fosters kids’ creativity is celebrating more than ten years of successful collaboration with Vale preschool.
My Art Project, based on Vale Business Park, has marked a decade of fostering children’s artistic skills through innovative projects with Charlton with Cropthorne Preschool.
Established in 2012 by a printing company that had the bright idea of partnering with schools, nurseries, and PTAs to help boost moneymaking efforts, it collaborated with just 11 schools, including Cropthorne Preschool, in its first year.
What was originally established through an existing friendship between one of My Art Project’s directors and the owner of Cropthorne Preschool has flourished into a partnership spanning over ten years, running a leavers’ project in the summer, as well as an annual Christmas fundraiser.
Project coordinator Jane Lawton at My Art Project is at the forefront of all school fundraising projects and passionate about encouraging children’s creativity.
“Our team is dedicated to helping our partner organisations maximise their fundraising,” she said.
“We strive to make the process as smooth, simple and stress-free for our partners, allowing them to focus on encouraging their pupils’ creativity and artistic talents.”
Creative fundraisers offer a wealth of benefits for young children, particularly at preschool age. Beyond encouraging creativity and self-expression, My Art Project’s fundraising projects help to develop fine motor skills, boost confidence and foster innovation, while providing an engaging and accessible way to learn.
Vicky Morris, manager at Cropthorne Preschool, has seen these benefits firsthand. “Our children love being creative and have a sense of ownership over their art.
“Mark making, creativity, and expressing themselves are huge areas of development for preschool children, and being able to turn their artwork into actual gifts to keep is priceless.”
“Being local, we can pick up and drop off templates really easily, which saves postage costs for both us and My Art Project,” said Vicky. “We have support on our doorstep and the team is great at helping us with anything we need.”
My Art Project works with schools, nurseries, and PTAs right across the UK.
