THE DIRECTOR of Evesham Park Run abandoned the traditional bridal morning routine of hair, nails and make up and instead still ran the 5km course before tying the knot.
On the morning of her wedding, Alix Cornish joined the 136 strong group of runners, including her fiancé Richard Nicklin, for the 5km run at 9am on Saturday (July 2).
Alix’s work colleagues from Campden BRI donned wedding attire and joined the bride-to-be on the run which is held every Saturday morning and starts off from Boat Lane.
Despite her energetic morning, Alix arrived on time to meet her husband to be at the altar in St Andrew’s Church in Hampton for the ceremony.
