Businesses in the Vale are invited to connect, network and try something new at a Taster Tennis, Brunch and Business event tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1 at Evesham Rowing and Racquets Club.
The event from 11am to 1.30pm is hosted by Evesham Tennis Club and will provide an opportunity for business owners to meet, gain support, and discover what the community has to offer.
Organiser Katie Gilbert of Evesham Noticeboard said: “Whether you’re looking to grow your business network or simply want to try something fun and different, this event has something for everyone.
“Our session kicks off with a 30-minute tennis taster session from 11am, where attendees can get on court and give tennis a try.
“Following the session, attendees will enjoy a guided tour of the Evesham Rowing and Racquets club, where we will be ‘served up’ with some warm food and drinks provided by the boathouse.
“Come along for the chance to chat about all-things business in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere overlooking the river.”
In addition to networking, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Evesham Regatta – hosted by Evesham Rowing Club from the boathouse in May.
The club is looking for businesses to get involved in the spectacle, which attracts hundreds of visitors to the town over the early bank holiday weekend, creating a significant economic boost.
Ruth Pearson from Evesham Tennis Club added: “This is a great chance for local businesses to come together, share ideas, and explore new opportunities in our relaxed and enjoyable setting right on the banks of the River Avon.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting this event at the Evesham Boathouse, and we can’t wait to see our community come together to support each other and create lasting connections.”
