AN ELDERLY man has been rushed to hospital after he collapsed and suffered from a cardiac arrest on the High Street in Evesham.
Emergency services, including paramedics, police and fire crews were called to the scene at about 11.56am this morning.
The man was in cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived and he was given advanced life support before being rushed to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
His condition is unknown, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson added.
Officers from West Mercia Police said they were first called out after they received reports of concern for the safety of an elderly man.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Service confirmed they attended the scene to assisted paramedics.
