'Drug dependent' Evesham woman given behaviour order

Evesham Editorial 28th Jan, 2016 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

A 28 year-old woman from Evesham has been handed a three year Criminal Behaviour Order after being convicted of criminal damage and assault.

Elizabeth Dawson, described as ‘drug dependent’ by police, came to officers attention following several reports of her drunken aggressive behaviour in Abbey Park and in other streets in Evesham.

The Criminal Behaviour Order was granted on the back of a conviction for criminal damage during a domestic argument and also for assault of a police officer and a detention officer in Worcester Custody.

It’s hoped the behaviour order will help Dawson turn her life around and encourage her to contact services that can help her.

She now must not shout, argue, fight or engage in a domestic dispute which may cause nuisance, harassment, alarm or distress.

Use drugs, either by smoking, snorting or injecting in any public place, or to a place where the public has access.

The order also prevents her from behaving in a manner that causes or is likely to cause other people alarm, harassment or distress.

And she’s prevented from entering Abbey Park or Horsebridge Avenue.
