A DRIVER who hit four cars during an incident in Evesham is thought to have fallen ill at the wheel, despite later refusing medical treatment from paramedics.
The incident took place on Sunday (August 6) on St David’s Drive at about 4.38pm and saw the driver hit four cars and a block of flats.
An ambulance and paramedic officer attended the scene and a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said it’s believed the driver suffered a potential medical incident at the wheel.
“He was assessed by ambulance staff and declined further treatment. He received self-care advice before being discharged at the scene. No further patients required assessment.”
Residents in the flats were evacuated while the building was assessed.
