THE driver and passengers of a van which caught fire in Badsey this morning managed to escape injury free.
The white Ford Transit caught fire on Willersey Road and a fire engine from Broadway and police rushed to the scene.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and one hose reel to put out the blaze.
The picture of the burnt out van shows extensive damage to the cab and luckily the driver and passengers managed to escape without any injuries.
Officers from Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team have said they believe the van fire was ‘accidental.’
