PEOPLE have been wrongly calling Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue, asking for crews to remove wasps nests from their properties.
The influx has prompted the service to issue advice about who to get in touch with if they are blighted by the pests.
Instead people should go to worcsregservices.gov.uk/pest-control/ to find out what arrangements to make as it differs in different parts of Worcestershire.
Some local councils can offer help while in others people need to get in touch with private companies.
