A MAJOR fashion retailer has confirmed when it will be opening its brand new Evesham store.
Pep&Co will officially open the doors of its 3-5 High Street store on Saturday, February 25 with the creation of 10 new jobs.
As the Observer revealed last year, the new store is taking the place of Store Twenty One which recently closed down.
The discount chain has 73 stores across the UK and offers women’s, men’s and kid’s clothing.
Company bosses said plans were drawn up to open a store in Evesham after a number of town residents responded to the firm’s ‘Bring Me Pep’ campaign, which asked shoppers why Pep&Co should open a store in their town.
Pep&Co’s managing director Adrian Mountford said: “I’m tremendously excited to be bringing PEP&CO to Evesham, after the local community campaigned for us to open here.
“We know from our other 73 stores that we can play a big part in helping town centres thrive, giving people another reason to shop locally.”
The store’s recently appointed manager, Mandy Clack, said: “We’re the brand everyone is talking about and one that customers love once they find us.
“As well as wardrobe staples such as jeggings and t-shirts, we’ll be offering a range of quality, stylish clothing and accessories for women, men, children and babies,” she added.
