Did you see the crash on the A46 on Saturday?

WITNESSES of Saturday’s crash on the A46 are being urged to come forward to help police with their investigation.

The incident happened at about 6.50pm when a yellow Vauxhall Corsa and a black Peugeot Eurotaxi collided on the Twyford roundabout.

The driver of the Corsa, a woman in her 70s, was taken by ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch after suffering from leg, arm and back injuries. She is still receiving treatment in hospital.

PC Darryn Van Rooyen of West Mercia Police, said: “Enquiries are currently ongoing but I would like to speak with any witnesses to the incident or anyone who saw the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven prior to the collision.”

Anyone with information is urged to West Mercia Police in 101, quoting incident number 726S of Saturday, June 17.
