THE DETAILS of this year’s Christmas lights switch-on in Evesham have been revealed by the Town Council.
Festivities will begin on Saturday, November 25 from midday when the Charter Market will be selling a host of Christmas gifts.
There will also be entertainment in the Market Place to get shoppers in the festive spirit with Christmas carols and live music throughout the afternoon.
Then from 3pm Father Christmas and his Reindeer will be visiting Evesham where he will parade up Bridge Street and into Market Place.
The countdown to the Christmas lights switch-on will then begin at 5.30pm. A fireworks display will follow the switch-on and a Rock ‘n’ Rollin’ Christmas sing-a-long.
