Something to think about
WHILST watching the Ladies Football World Cup semi-final the other day it was amazing to note how many of the English and Australian players were actually teammates for clubs in this country.
It must have been difficult at times to remember to pass the ball to an international teammate rather than to one from the club which they play for.
There must be many times in life when we have to stop and ask the question, ‘Who do I trust with this information that I have heard? Will it adversely affect someone else by revealing it to another party?’
When Jesus Christ chose His 12 Disciples, He brought them from a wide spectrum of society, each with their own character and background, but He knew that He could gel them together for His purpose.
In church life today, there are many people from varying backgrounds and cultures but as they join together, they will experience so much in church life that will unify and bless them.
The one great unifying factor is that of each individual knowing and worshipping God through the love and salvation of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
There are various Christian Denominations but as we worship together Jesus brings that unity which He brought to that group of Disciples all those years ago.
