A NEW GENERATION of Plum royalty has been crowned to take the roles at this years festival.
Even though the Plum Blossom Sunday event took place on the hottest day of the year, promising Princesses remained cool as they were joined at the Angel Hotel by local entertainers, compere Trevor Harrison and judge Henry Sandon MBE. Festival favourites Prunella, Eggbert and Queen Victoria were also in attendance.
Carnival queen will be Emily Mathias from Cherry Orchard First School and her attendants for the year will be Gracie Morgan and Jessica Cosnett.
