A COLLISION between two cars on the A46 caused the northbound carriageway to be closed for more than an hour.
Fire crews from Evesham and one from Alcester attended the scene involving two cars on the busy road at about 1.20pm on Sunday (January 16).
The incident occurred heading northbound between Twyford Bank and Salford Priors.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed while both drivers were trapped one managed to get out of the vehicle unassisted.
The second was taken out of the vehicle by fire crews and both were treated by paramedics at the scene.
