FIREFIGHTERS were called to the river access jetty off Boat Lane in Evesham for the second time in a week in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Crews from Evesham, Pershore, Worcester, Hereford and Ledbury all attended the scene just after 3am to reports of a car in the water.
While the car was fully submerged in the water the driver had managed to escape the vehicle.
Last night’s incident took place eight days after a separate incident which again saw a car enter the water at the town beauty spot.
